Steps to intruduce the text to the class:

1. Human feelings: Questions about broken hearted situations.
2. Introduction of vocabulary needed to understand the story. Eg: flaw, proud, boast, gouges, pain, etc.
3. Introduction of the story. Eg: This story is about two men who were comparing their hearts...
4. Instructions for students: Read the story and identify the main characters and the different environments such as moral, temporal or physical.
5. Students will explain the plot of the story in their own words to check on their rephrasing habilities.
6. Students compare the story with real life situations.
7. Wrap up: Students will write a short story about a personal experience using the new vocabulary.
